Although twelve year old Amen constantly draws unwanted attention from the people of small town Kilcock because of her eyes, life could not be more normal for her and her twin sister, Iska. Until a fateful day, when Amen experiences a life changing event that she and Iska desperately need to share with the only person they trust: their mother, Are. But things go from bad to unimaginable when they arrive home to find Are’s lifeless body.
With no other living relatives, Amen and Iska are taken into an orphanage run by Are’s best friend, Aunt Nikki. There, the twins are haunted, for years by their mother’s untimely death; however, just when it seems like they are finally ready to move on, a piece of news from Aunt Nikki starts a chain reaction of events that forces Amen and Iska to journey to foreign lands in search of answers, while trying to keep themselves and the people closest to them from getting killed.

“Reading SeaBreeze has been a pleasure. The book is so captivating, it’s hard to put down! So hard in fact, that the second time i read it, I read i all in 7 hours! The story is so well written, the words so well chosen, and the characters so diverse that it’s impossible not to relate to at least one. The themes and messages in the book are timeless, easy to understand and cleverly integrated in the story. SeaBreeze has everything: relatability, adventure, drama, relationships, humour and supernatural. It’s an easy book to read because as you advance, the story leaves you wanting more.
You feel every emotion while turning the pages. I have laughed, cried, felt suspense, joy, sadness and shock, amongst others. The plot twists and turn of events are amazing and unexpected, truly a joy to read. I eagerly await the next book in the series and can’t wait to see this made into a movie! It’s an epic series that deserves to be read.”

“Michael Enearu has written a splendid and well put-together book, one which subconsciously demands your imagination and child-like wonder to be woken up. Enearu has doen something which many authors have tried and failed, he has captured the very fond feeling of nostaligia and spread it across the book.
The story feels familiar, but not as something I have read elsewhere, but as something I have lived, at some point in my life. Seabreeze, a story about two twelve-year old girls tells a tale of courage, perseverance, tenacity, child-like wonder and above all, love, It’s refreshing to see as story as good as ths from a first-ime published writer. From reading a few chapters, you can easily tell Enearu did his homework with the writing and with pouring life into all the characters, their stories and their crossovers, and I cannot wait to read more from the author.”
